Staying hydrated during long surf sessions is a must. The sun beating down on you will make you lose much of your body´s minerals and make you feel dehydrated. Drinking a cold coconut in between surf sessions will replenish many of those minerals.
The lack of water or fluids can make you feel tired. It can also cause a temporary headache, as can heat stroke.
Make sure to always drink plenty of water before and after surfing.
A good word of advise is to take a bottle of water with you to the beach so you can drink water after you get out of the water. We recommend using a cantine or aluminum reusable bottle, as plastic disposable bottles contaminate.
Take care of your body and stay hydrated.
